The 38th annual Blue Cap Auction
Auction
The annual Blue Cap Auction is one of the fundraising events Blue Cap hosts every year. The 38th was held at the Doubletree by Hilton in Alsip. Volunteers are needed for it, and so are donors.
Special events that fund Blue Cap's work
Every year Blue Cap hosts fundraising events around Blue Island, and neighbours host benefits of their own. Each one needs donors and hands. The dates are announced each year, so this page names the events and tells you how to find out when the next one is.
Annual fundraiser
Tag Days
Volunteers stand at intersections and outside storefronts in nearby towns, collect donations, and hand out candy and information about Blue Cap. Tag Days have run in the City of Palos Heights and the Village of Worth. Put together a team or come on your own.
Annual fundraiser
Golf Outing
The Golf Outing is a fundraising event Blue Cap hosts every year for the people we support. Volunteers are welcome here too.

Rose Walk
The Rose Walk is one of the fundraising events Blue Cap hosts every year, and one more that depends on volunteers to run.

Hot Rod Holiday Hoedown at Eagles Bowling Lanes
Romin' Chariots hosts the Hot Rod Holiday Hoedown at Eagles Bowling Lanes, 2427 Grove St. in Blue Island, and it benefits the Blue Cap Food Pantry. Community groups put on events like this one for Blue Cap, and the pantry serves Blue Island and nearby communities.
Read how the pantry works on the food pantry page, or see other ways to give on the donate page.
