Supports and services at Blue Cap
All programs and services at Blue Cap are designed for each individual.
Daily activities are designed to address skills and personal goals for each individual participant. Whether a person's goal is to find a job, learn a new skill, or be an integral part of the community, we help them achieve and exceed it.
Four supports, below in turn: Community Day Services, Community Integrated Living, Home-Based Services and Food Pantry.

Life Enrichment and the Blended Day
Community Day Services
Life Enrichment for adults: community life, education, job training, volunteer and employment opportunities, with a Blended Day where each person chooses what the day holds.
Everyone helps write their own Person-Centered Plan, which reflects needs, dreams and desires, and support is built from there.

Homes in the community
Community Integrated Living
Supportive living arrangements in the community, with staff support for daily living, caring for a home and taking part in neighbourhood life.
People live in their community with staff support for all aspects of daily living. In Blue Cap's words, the service basically supports life.

A Service Facilitator at home
Home-Based Services
A Service Facilitator for children and adults living at home with family: case management, Waiver and Medicaid State Plan access, and day-to-day oversight of the service plan.
Service Facilitators are responsible for the day-to-day oversight and administration of the service plan and for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the individual.
